Description

Award-winning American teacher Lisa Parker teaches Dalcroze solfège to adults at the Geneva Congress in 2007. The film shows a complete class taught using the fixed-do system but given the nature of the exercises will be equally useful to people who use moveable-do. It covers harmonic analysis, di-chords, tri-chords and modulation, all taught through physical movement, singing and vocal improvisation. The disc also includes a short interview with Lisa Parker with references to the lesson shown.
