What is Dalcroze and what can it do for me?

FREE DISCOVER DALCROZE DAY: music education, performance…and much more.

In these challenging times for music and music education there is something that can help you like no other method – Dalcroze Eurhythmics. Dalcroze, as it’s known for short, is a radical and exciting way of feeling, perceiving and learning about music that every music teacher, performer and artist should know about because it will revolutionise the way you think and feel about music.

  • Do your students find it hard to keep a regular pulse?
  • Do they have difficulty with rhythm and don’t listen well?
  • Do they find it hard to create simple melodies or have difficulty understanding harmony?
  • Are they struggling with their instrument because they’re still struggling to read music?

Whatever issues teachers encounter, in the classroom or in the instrumental lesson, Dalcroze can help.

Dalcroze UK invites you and all your colleagues to join in an amazing day of discovery into Dalcroze Eurhythmics on November 16th at the beautiful and acoustically designed Rosconn Auditorium, Warwick School, Myton Rd, Warwick CV34 6PP.

In this free day to discover Dalcroze, you will experience for yourself how you can help your students find a deeper connection and understanding of music by making a direct contact with music through the body.

Dalcroze is effective in learning music, joyful and fun, liberating, builds confidence and helps students to develop a range of other skills needed to become confident, collaborative musicians, performers and artists. No other method of music education sets up a student so completely or enables them to be ready to sing, play, perform and compose.
