Musical Leadership through Dalcroze
Equivalent to a Professional Doctorate, the Dalcroze Diploma is the highest qualification available. It offers high-level artistic and pedagogical skills alongside strategies for course leadership and teacher training. Diploma holders are international ambassadors for the method and responsible for standards in teaching and assessment.

To begin studying for the Diplôme Supérieur Jaques-Dalcroze, a student will have a Licence or equivalent, have been teaching Dalcroze Eurhythmics for at least one year post-Licence, and have advanced skills in rhythmics, aural training, and piano improvisation and performance. The Diplôme Supérieur confers the right to teach the Dalcroze method in its entirety at all levels and to be a representative of the method. It has been awarded to only 220 people since it was established in 1909, confirming it as a rare mark of excellence in musicianship, teaching, artistry and movement skill.
