Laetitia Disseix-Berger Diplôme Supérieur, Institut Jaques-Dalcroze 

We are delighted that Laetitia Disseix-Berger will be joining us in Croydon this year to teach on our Intensive Training Course!

Laetitia currently teaches Music Education, Solfège, Solfège for Dancers, and Dalcroze Eurhythmics at the Conservatoire Regional de Rueil-Malmaison, near Paris, France. She uses la méthode Jaques-Dalcroze to instruct music and dance students.

She graduated from the French Conservatory system with a State’s Diploma in Piano (2005) and Solfège Education
(2007) ; she has completed her graduate studies by earning a Master’s degree in musical pedagogy, orientation Rythmique Jaques-Dalcroze of Haute École de Musique of Geneva (2012) and most recently, the Diplôme Supérieur in Jaques-Dalcroze Education of the Institut Jaques-Dalcroze (2018).

She also teaches master-classes at ECM – Musical Theater School of Paris (Ecole de Comédie Musicale de Paris), Cefedem of Metz, Pôle Sup’ 93, CFMI of Lille, and in other cities in France and abroad (Dalcroze School of the Rockies in Denver, Colorado).

An active member of the Association DALCROZE France, she collaborated with Anne-Gabrielle CHATOUX and Anne LAMATELLE-MEYER in the creation of a Post-Grade program in Dalcroze Education in France : le Certificat DALCROZE France.

In addition to her active teaching career, she enjoys collaborating on different artistic projects including dance and body percussion. She also enjoys tap dancing and incorporating this art form into her Dalcroze work. Recently, she has discovered the joy of clowning!
