She is Lecturer in Dalcroze Studies at Royal Conservatoire of Scotland where she trains undergraduate teachers.   For the last 6 years she has led a prizewinning Masters’ Module at RCS for qualified teachers called “Exploring Responsibility of All Through Dalcroze Eurhythmics” which is funded by the Scottish Government.  Her roles at St Mary’s Music School in Edinburgh (until 2022) included teaching violin, pedagogy, and from 2013-20 Dalcroze classes for 4 to 10-year-olds at Saturday Morning Classes.

In 2019 she joined the team at National Youth String Orchestra, specialising in using Dalcroze to train the members of the Intermediate orchestras.  She is the Director of the newly formed NYSO Sinfonietta, a residential training course for string players aged 7-9.   International work has included teaching on Dalcroze Australia’s Summer School in 2019 and on String Camps in Ukraine in 2018/19.

2024 brings a new adventure as a partner with Playground Proms, a comedy string quartet which delivers live performances in primary schools.  This year also sees the continuation of her partnership with Sistema Scotland, supporting the development of teaching and learning across their centres.
