Presented by Drusilla Harris
Drusilla has been teaching at St John’s College School Cambridge since the summer term 2013. She teaches all the children aged 9 to 13. Her presentation touches on the inherent advantages and challenges of such an institution and of how she has tried to take full advantage of the first whilst rising to the second in creating a four year curriculum with Dalcroze at its core. Her talk also briefly examines how she adapted to providing full online music education for her 240 students whilst the school was closed during the last two months, and in particular at what seemed to enhance the children’s learning beyond their previous provision.
