Presenters: Dr Selma Odom & Mary Price-O’Connor
Selma and Mary are intrigued about what is possible over zoom and would like to explore Plastique Animeé in trios.
The session will start off with a warm up, asking the question what is a trio? Inviting participants to explore fully the possibilities of movement over zoom, whilst using the environment and limitations of space to explore their movement vocabulary and involvement of the camera as audience.
They will then separate the participants into breakout rooms to explore in movement the various elements from the trio and create a Plastique Animeé that will be shared with the rest of the group.
Prior experience of Plastique Animeé would be an advantage.
A laptop will be the best way to experience the workshop. Participants will need to be dressed in clothes suitable for movement.
There will be a reflection of what works and participants would also gain an understanding of how to develop a Plastique Animeé practice. The end results will be discussed and recorded.
Registration closes 22nd August at 9am UK time!
