Kathryn started her Dalcroze studies during her PGCE with Specialist Strings at the Royal College of Music and Manchester Metropolitan University and has used it as a basis for teaching classes and instrumental lessons for all ages for more than 20 years.
Whilst at St. John’s College School, Cambridge, she devised, implemented and directed the successful community music project, Stringmoves, which combines Dalcroze Eurhythmics and string teaching for 5-12 year olds.
Currently she is the Dalcroze Eurhythmics teacher for the Royal College of Music, London. She teaches Early Years classes on the RCM Sparkles outreach project in London Schools as well as at the RCM Junior Department on Saturdays.
