Spring Into Dalcroze UK Course 2022

Jacqueline holds the Diplôme Supérieur of the Institut Jaques-Dalcroze (IJD), Geneva, and is Director of Projects for Dalcroze UK.

She graduated from the Institut Jaques-Dalcroze in 1997, since when she has taught regularly on the full range of UK training courses, from the Foundation Award to the Licence course. She also teaches regularly on the International Summer School and Spring Courses and is an examiner for the DEIEB exams (Dalcroze Eurhythmics International Examination Board). 

Jacqueline studied Performance Arts at Middlesex University and also piano, harpsichord and continuo at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Her eclectic background includes Montessori training, Creative Musicianship (Trinity College of Music), Estil Voice Training, Advanced Kodaly and Performance Arts. Her wide-ranging experience embraces teaching Dalcroze to children and adults of all ages, including those with Specific Learning Difficulties and the Deaf.

Jacqueline gives Dalcroze workshops nationally and around the world (Japan, Canada, Denmark, Norway and Australia). She has presented papers at the International Conference in Dalcroze Studies (2013 & 2019) and gave a keynote presentation in 2019. She has taught at a number of universities, music colleges and schools including Canterbury Christchurch College, Birmingham Conservatoire, Goldsmiths College and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Jacqueline recently completed a master’s in Neuroscience & Education at the University of Bristol.
