DALCROZE INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL

Workshops to include:

  • Using Dalcroze: an opportunity to watch current Dalcroze teachers in school (film)
  • How to encourage youngsters, teenagers, to get moving more creatively
  • Developing a Movement Vocabulary for Music Class through the Study of Time, Space & Weight
  • Plastique for beginners: musical analysis through movement
  • Using the rhythms of text, poetry and lyrics in a Dalcroze class
  • Folk song for teaching phrasing

Non-residential price – £140 off all the above

  • Open Day (Thursday 27 July) – £115 members / £125 non-members (non-residential)
